  • I need a Care Credit Increase

I recently request a care credit increase back on 1/17/2014 and I was denided. I'll be paying my balance off on Friday of this week bringing me back to a credit balance of 3500.00 . But I need an increase anywhere from $2500.00 TO 3500.00 For another surgery . I'm wondering if anybody can assist me with this? Will my chances of getting an increase possible once the balance is paid in full or am I wasting me time? Another company called united medical approved me for 3500.00but they're interest rates are way too high. Please Help!!! More...

  • Payment not received

I was nearing the end of my promotion for my eye surgery. I did not have the money in my account that I use to have payments auto deducted and the fastest way for me to get it paid off was to mail them a check. The promotion ended on 3/27, it is now 4/27 and my check has not cleared and the accrued interest had been slapped onto my balance, $1,555!! I only had $1,127 left to pay. I cannot get in touch with anyone at all. I find this to be deceptive and misleading. I have always paid over the minimum amount due and sometime twice a month. This is unacceptable. I have another... More...

I've had this card for 2 years now and never had a problem until this month! I opened a card with credit care because my dog needed surgery that cost $3,000. I paid it off within a year and didn't manage to have a problem. However, last year in March, I had to get surgery that cost $5,000. Right now, it's the beginning of April 2013. I was so close to paying off ;however, they charged me additional $1,200 for "promotion". Thats RIDICULOUS!!! They don't explain this to people before signing up... If I would of known, i would of just used my American Express...... More...

  • What's Going On?

I signed up for a Care Credit Card when I got hearing aids. Being on a pension I could not afford the whole amount in cash so I put $3000 on the card. The agent at the hearing aid clinic told me if I paid $167 on the account (way over the minimum) it would be paid off with no interest. That's what I've been doing. I called Care Credit today today to find out the exact final payment date on my "no interest" 18 mo loan and they said I'd have to pay it off in 12 months not the 18 months. She told me I'd have to start paying $250 a month to pay it off. I... More...

I have a carecredit card and have been using it to pay for my dental procedures which is A LOT of money! I still have things that I need to get done, and for the life of me, I cannot get them to increase my credit limit! I have been trying to rebuild my credit and am grateful that they gave me a card. But I find out later down the road that i could have requested more within 48 hours and if I did not do so it would be hard to get it. I am so mad. What does someone like me who is trying to get ahead in life have to do for some help and a great start without consistantly being shot down all... More...

This company is one BIG SCAM, Sent in Jan. payment one day EARLY on Dec.31st. (Had already paid Dec. payment.) They posted 2 payments to Dec., -0- to Jan. I found out on Feb. statement. They doubled the amount due for February, Charged me a$25.00 EARLY-late fee, upped payment and interest. I requested payoff amount, sent it in which was much more than I owed. Now saying their people (2) gave me incorrect payoff and I still owe more money. THEY ARE TOTAL SCAM CROOKS. Phyllis in N.C. More...

  • Don't Borrow from GE!

This is the most corrupt business with the most seedy "business" practices. Primary problem? ALL of their phones numbers connect ONLY to India. There is no way to contact them any other way. My son was the primary borrower. He has been out of work for over 7 months and is ineligible for unemployment. I tried to establish some type of payment plan via mail correspondence, but they did not respond to mail. In the meantime, I get 4-5 calls a day on my cell and house phone. All of the calls are from India. I tried 5 different addresses within the United States... More...

  • Board Certification & Care Credit

In August 2009 a representative from Care credit contacted my medical office and told my receptionist that we would no longer be allowed to accept Care Credit at our office because I was not Board Certified. I have called many times since then to speak with someone in management but have not been succesful in my limited time. I would like to know why this decission was made and how it came about being made and who is responsible for the handling of this situation. More...

This company is ridiculous! They are rude and nasty and are never willing to help when you need it. Once I'm done paying this card off, I'm never using them again!

My experience was putting 1700 for pet surgery on the GE Care Credit card @ 12mos no interest. I set up an auto pay to zero out the balance before the year to avoid a 18% interest rate. It paid the desired amount for 3 mos, then without my changing the amount it went to only drawing minimum balance due per mos. I called and they said I changed it, I did not. I lost complete confidence in the electronic payment system and GE money. I then used my home equity to pay the balance so that I was not at risk of GE scamming me. The payment was electronic and was set to trigger the first of the month. I just checked it and there is no electronic record of my history of the intended transaction. I just did a one time payment to zero out the card. They may or may not be scammers but as a customer I was spooked enough by them cut my relationship with them. I smelled a Rat in the floor boards in is looks like GE money.

My husband and I have had an account with GE money for several years. We obtained a loan through Spencer Furniture for over $8,0000 and have faithfully paid $300.00 every month. Our balance is just over $3,200. Last month I mistakenly paid $100.00 instead of the minimum $184.00. We received a bill shortly after that with a "late" payment of $20.00, plus an increase in the monthly payment. Not one person on the phone would allow us to speak to a manager. No one could even speak English. Our previous good record and standing with the credit card was totally disregarded. What was more disturbing was the "stalking" antics of this co. My husband was out of town for 3 days, we have never missed a payment, always paid much more than the required amount, and the phone rang at least 12 times a day from GE Money.. I will contact Spencer Furniture and let them know how unreasonable this company is and I intend to file a complaint.. I will also contact Martha Coakley in Mass, and the BBB. I am so disgusted by your so called "customer service". We intend to pay off our balance and destroy the GE card. We will never resort to this kind of abuse again.

GE Care Credit needs to re-evaluate their customer service. All calls obviously go to India!!! In May I paid off ny account and then closed the account. I find out now in the middle of August that I owe them another 25.44. So I go on line to pay then call to confirm the account is closed. They confirm account is closed but my payment was due on the 13th and today is the 16th." So, you are going to charge me for 3 days interest?" I asked. He couldn't give me a straight answer! I hope they really use their quality assurance recordings!!!! I gave them an ear full! I am sure it won't do any good. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!

my second time around with these clowns, extremely poor customer service, they applied my payment to the wrong account and are now calling me 6 times a day, called them several times and spoke to supervisors who claimed that they "just fixed" the problem, however the calls keep coming and the problem does not get fixed. They give me a reference number that is meaningless, the customer service people can't access them. Unbelievable

G E Money/Care Credit Complaint Feb. 18,2011
How about getting a late fee of $25.00 plus
additional interest and upping your amount of
payment because your check got to them one day
EARLY. They posted both payments of Dec. and Jan.
to December's bill and January payment was -0- and
only found out when I received my February bill. Called for payoff and mailed it Certified Mail the
amount which was much more then the actual payments. They charge a penalty for early payment.
On top of that, said their two representatives quoted me the wrong amount and am still owing
more money. This company is a SCAM...Go to your
bank or anywhere else. GOOD LUCK IN GETTING THEM
PAID OFF. P.Roberson, N.C.
