  • I need a Care Credit Increase

I recently request a care credit increase back on 1/17/2014 and I was denided. I'll be paying my balance off on Friday of this week bringing me back to a credit balance of 3500.00 . But I need an increase anywhere from $2500.00 TO 3500.00 For another surgery . I'm wondering if anybody can assist me with this? Will my chances of getting an increase possible once the balance is paid in full or am I wasting me time? Another company called united medical approved me for 3500.00but they're interest rates are way too high. Please Help!!! More...

  • Payment not received

I was nearing the end of my promotion for my eye surgery. I did not have the money in my account that I use to have payments auto deducted and the fastest way for me to get it paid off was to mail them a check. The promotion ended on 3/27, it is now 4/27 and my check has not cleared and the accrued interest had been slapped onto my balance, $1,555!! I only had $1,127 left to pay. I cannot get in touch with anyone at all. I find this to be deceptive and misleading. I have always paid over the minimum amount due and sometime twice a month. This is unacceptable. I have another... More...

  • CARE CREDIT- "PROMOTION SCAM

I've had this card for 2 years now and never had a problem until this month! I opened a card with credit care because my dog needed surgery that cost $3,000. I paid it off within a year and didn't manage to have a problem. However, last year in March, I had to get surgery that cost $5,000. Right now, it's the beginning of April 2013. I was so close to paying off ;however, they charged me additional $1,200 for "promotion". Thats RIDICULOUS!!! They don't explain this to people before signing up... If I would of known, i would of just used my American Express...... More...

  • What's Going On?

I signed up for a Care Credit Card when I got hearing aids. Being on a pension I could not afford the whole amount in cash so I put $3000 on the card. The agent at the hearing aid clinic told me if I paid $167 on the account (way over the minimum) it would be paid off with no interest. That's what I've been doing. I called Care Credit today today to find out the exact final payment date on my "no interest" 18 mo loan and they said I'd have to pay it off in 12 months not the 18 months. She told me I'd have to start paying $250 a month to pay it off. I... More...

  • SOO MAD

I have a carecredit card and have been using it to pay for my dental procedures which is A LOT of money! I still have things that I need to get done, and for the life of me, I cannot get them to increase my credit limit! I have been trying to rebuild my credit and am grateful that they gave me a card. But I find out later down the road that i could have requested more within 48 hours and if I did not do so it would be hard to get it. I am so mad. What does someone like me who is trying to get ahead in life have to do for some help and a great start without consistantly being shot down all... More...

  • Don't Borrow from GE!

This is the most corrupt business with the most seedy "business" practices. Primary problem? ALL of their phones numbers connect ONLY to India. There is no way to contact them any other way. My son was the primary borrower. He has been out of work for over 7 months and is ineligible for unemployment. I tried to establish some type of payment plan via mail correspondence, but they did not respond to mail. In the meantime, I get 4-5 calls a day on my cell and house phone. All of the calls are from India. I tried 5 different addresses within the United States... More...

  • Board Certification & Care Credit

In August 2009 a representative from Care credit contacted my medical office and told my receptionist that we would no longer be allowed to accept Care Credit at our office because I was not Board Certified. I have called many times since then to speak with someone in management but have not been succesful in my limited time. I would like to know why this decission was made and how it came about being made and who is responsible for the handling of this situation. More...
